Thanksgiving

I have loved reading all the gratitude blogs, videos, and emails this past week. I too have been feeling so grateful this year and wanted to share just a few of the reasons I have to be thankful...

*my husband
*my children
*our new home
*friendly neighbors
*amazing ward family
*my neurostimulator, being able to walk and live without pain
*the scriptures
*a warm bed
*food to eat
*Aaron's job
*living in the United States of America
*a living prophet
*Jesus Christ
*the ability to read and write
*my mom and dad
*repentance, second chances
*and Matthew

I could go on and on and on... (really I could) but I found a video of what I've been particularly grateful for lately. It's about the founding of our Country and the sacrifices made to win our freedom. Cameron and I have been reading the Book of Mormon together. We're only half way through, but we've noticed whenever the people turn away from God they always end up in bondage or destroyed. Always. Our freedom really is so fragile. May we live worthy so that God can bless America forever...

The toothfairy

Cameron lost his first tooth yesterday! Well actually it was his second. He swallowed his first one in a bite of ham sandwich about a month ago. Aaron and I weren't about to go treasure hunting, even for such a treasure as that. Sorry Cammy. Anyway, his tooth had been loose for awhile. In fact when he wasn't holding it up with his lip it would almost dangle to a 90 degree angle. He wouldn't let any of us touch it. So after dinner last night we casually encouraged him to wiggle it for us and OUT it popped. At first he was shocked, and then so excited.

The kids see our new house for the very first time! They're pretty excited. Here's a video. I'll post pictures later. Enjoy:-)

Halloween 2009

Cameron says this halloween was "super awesome!" He was Superman and Jared was a Penguin. Mommy was a black cat and daddy was daddy:-) We decorated our house with pumpkins, a graveyard, fog, spiders, orange lights, black lanterns, and scary music. The kids loved coming to our house.
